DUI for Woman in her Car Stopped and Running in Middle of Parking Lot CVS

Greenwich Police responded to a tip about a drunk driver behind the CVS on Greenwich Ave.

Greenwich Police arrested Veralice Garcia-Ruano, 46, of 59 E Broadway in Port Chester on Nov 11 at about 11:00pm after responding to the report of an intoxicated driver in the pharmacy’s rear parking lot.

When police responded, they discovered a motor vehicle stopped, but running in the middle of the parking lot.

Investigation revealed that Ms. Garcia-Ruano had red glassy eyes and the odor of alcohol. She was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.

Garcia-Ruano was charged with DUI and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License 1st offense.

She was able to post her $250 court set bond and has a court date on Dec. 2, 2016 in Stamford Superior Court.
