DUI for Driver Spotted Traveling with Two Safety Cones Wedged Under His Car

On Jan 29 around 10:00pm Greenwich Police spotted a car headed east on Mill Street with two plastic traffic cones wedged underneath.

After police stopped the car they observed the driver to have glassy eyes and detected the odor of alcohol.

Police also determined that the driver, Pablo Bello-Gonzalez, 43, of White Plains, had no ignition device installed in his car.

Mr. Bello-Gonzalez was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.

He was charged with DUI, Unsafe Movement, and Illegal Operation Motor Vehicle without Ignition Device.

Bello-Gonzalez was able to post the required 10% of his $1,000 bond and was released. He has an appearance scheduled in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 7, 2022.
