DUI and Improper Parking Charges for Woman Sleeping in Pick Up Truck on Mason Street

On Aug 28, around 2:30pm, Greenwich Police responded to the area of Mason Street on a report of a driver in the roadway, passed out behind the wheel.

Police say that when they arrived they located a blue pick up truck parked in the southbound lane of Mason Street.

The driver, identified as Lynette R Aurzada, 61, of Suburban Ave in Cos Cob was found laying across the front seats of her vehicle asleep.

Officers were able to get Ms. Aurzada up. She displayed bloodshot, glassy eyes and had the odor of alcoholic beverages.

She was arrested and transported to Greenwich Police headquarters where she refused to submit a breath sample for analysis.

She was charged with DUI and Improper Parking. She was unable to post her $250 bond and has a date on Sept 11, 2019 in Stamford Superior Court.
