Cos Cob Man Faces Five Counts of Illegal Possession of Narcotics

On the evening of Aug 17 Greenwich Police arrested a Cos Cob man by warrant.

Kristopher Thomas Chimblo, 31, of Harold Street faces five counts of Illegal Possession of Narcotics.

According to Lt Mark Zuccerella, Mr. Chimblo was in possession of Opioids, cocaine, and other narcotics.

“He was getting them mail delivered,” Zuccerella said.

Chimblo’s bond was set at $25,000 and he was assigned a date in Stamford Superior court on Sept 7, 2020.

According to the Judicial Branch website, Chimblo was convicted in March 2019 for Attempt to Commit Larceny 3rd degree and sentenced to 30 months in jail for an incident on Valley Rd in Cos Cob on Oct 4, 2017 in Greenwich. He was Committed to Department of Corrections.

In June 2017, Chimblo was arrested twice on the same day. He charged with Disorderly Conduct following a fight on Harold Street. That same day, he was also arrested and charged with Assault 3 for an incident at 31 River Road.

In April 2015 he violated his parole after he allegedly Threatened his Cos Cob family. He was charged with charged with Threatening 2 and Disorderly Conduct.
