Update: The Merritt reopened around 10:15pm, after about two hours.
Original story, from Greenwich Police, 8:12pm: The Connecticut State Police are investigating an incident northbound on Merritt Parkway in area of the rest stop at Exit 27, according to an announcement from Greenwich Police Deputy Chief Zuccerella.
Exit 27 is for King Street (NY 120A) north. It is located immediately after the state line.
The northbound lanes are CLOSED.
Greenwich Police are on scene assisting.
Motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
