On Monday East Putnam Ave was blocked off in Cos Cob in the area between Dunkin Donuts and Mike’s Organic due to a crash.
According to Greenwich Police Dept Captain John Slusarz an unmarked police car and a Toyota Prius collided.
“One car then veered off the road and struck a parked car,” Slusarz said.
Both drivers had minor injuries and were seen at the ER.
The westbound lanes were closed for about an hour for the investigation and clean up.
The incident is currently under investigation.
