Citgo Gas Station on East Putnam Ave Robbed By Man Claiming to Have a Gun

On Monday, April 24, at about 9:15pm, the Citgo Gas Station located at 392 East Putnam Ave in Cos Cob was robbed by a lone male subject who displayed what looked like a hand gun and demanded money from the register.

Greenwich Police immediately flooded the area with marked and unmarked units. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5′ 7″ with a stocky build who attempted to cover his face with his clothing.
