A suspect wanted in connection with Greenwich Police Dept case# 23-0556 2, the incident involving a man who grabbed and tried to kiss a teen girl who was walking her dog by Walgreens in Riverside, has been identified.
Hilmer Santos Roca, 32, of Bridgeport, was arrested by police in the city of Milford after an incident in a Michael’s store on Feb 26.
In a release, Milford Police said they responded to the Michaels store on a report of a suspicious man. Police in Milford received several accounts from victims who stated that a man, later identified as Mr. Roca, had followed them around the store. Further, that Mr. Roca had gotten close to the victims, and in several instances touched them, causing them alarm. Mr. Roca had left the store by the time police arrived at the mall. Upon speaking to security at the mall, police found that there had been several similar complaints from victims inside the mall.
Mr. Roca was located inside Boscov’s Department Store in Milford and was taken into custody and charged by Milford Police as follows:
Breach of Peace 2 (3 counts)
Public Indecency (3 counts)
Stalking 3 (2 counts)
His bond was set at $10,000 and he had a date in court on Feb 27, 2023.
Greenwich Police thanked the Milford Police Department for their assistance in the investigation.
Roca has not been charged in connection with the incident in Greenwich, but police have identified him as a suspect and have said they will apply for a warrant for his arrest.
GPD Detective Division continue their investigation and further information will be released at a later date.
