Around 9:00pm on Tuesday Greenwich Police responded to a residence in Pemberwick on a report of a fight between a man and woman and that the man was attempting to break down the door to the residence.
When police arrived, the man, Moniren Meas, 35, of Green Lane, was standing in the driveway over a broken key ring.
He told police that it had broken because the victim had attempted to take the key ring from him.
Investigation revealed that Mr. Meas had been involved in an argument with the victim over the keys outside the residence, and that when she went back inside the residence, he loudly banged on the door in an attempt to be let in.
He was arrested and charged with Breach of Peace 2. His bond was set at $1,000 and he was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court the next morning.
