On December 7, Greenwich Police responded to Lexus of Greenwich on Old Track Road on the report of theft of four sets of new alloy wheels. The wheels and tires – 16 in all – were taken from 2015 and 2016 cars. The theft was ported on Monday and could have taken place over the weekend. The stolen sets of wheels were worth $5,600 each, for a total of over $20,000.
According to Lt. Kraig Gray, after jacking up the cars, the thieves dropped the lug nuts in the ground and then lowered the cars onto building materials.
