Another Pharmacy Targeted for Break-In

On July 13, around 5:20am, Greenwich Police received a report of two suspicious men in the area of the Greenview Pharmacy on North Water Street in Byram attempting to break in.

According to Lt Slusarz, the reporting party saw the men get into a car a flee area almost immediately after entering the pharmacy.

Police on scene saw the glass to the building was smashed.

Slusarz said the incident is under investigation, but there was no report of the suspects having stolen anything.

Just a few weeks ago two pharmacies on Greenwich Avenue were targeted by thieves in smash-and-grab burglaries. Both Greenwich Pharmacy and Grannick’s had plate glass windows boarded up following the incidents.

The police have not released a list of items stolen.

Police say that pharmacies in nearby towns have also been targeted and they are in touch with those agencies.
