Woman Charged with Evading Responsibility, Risk of Injury to a Child after Car Accident at GCDS Parking Lot

On Dec 3 a Greenwich woman wanted by warrant surrendered at Greenwich Police headquarters on Bruce Place.

Police say Eva M Guite, 47, was wanted for Evading Responsibility/Injury/Property Damage, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane and Risk of Injury to a Child for an incident back on the afternoon of Nov 8, 2021.

The charges originated from an incident in which police say Ms Guite knowingly left the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of Greenwich Country Day School where students were present at the time.

Ms Guite was able to post the required 10% of her 2,500 bond set by Judge Blawie.

She was released and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 17, 2021.
