Heron Named Girls Ice Hockey Coach at Greenwich High School

Brooke Heron was named the Head Girls Ice Hockey Coach by Greenwich High School Athletic Director Gus
Lindine.

Heron is replacing Alex Lerchen, who resigned at the end of last season after many successful years as
head coach of the Cardinals.

Ms Heron has always been connected to ice hockey as both a very talented player and as someone providing
instruction for young people.

For the past season, she Heron was a varsity assistant coach at Darien High School. Previously, she had also spent two years as a varsity assistant coach at Wilton High School. As a student-athlete at The Westminister School, Heron was captain of her ice hockey team and was a two-time New England Champion.

Brooke continued playing hockey at Trinity College where she was named captain of her team. During her collegiate career, Trinity College won the NESCAC Championship in 2015, for the first time in school history.
