Theresa Gabriel Belluscio, a long-time Greenwich resident, passed away peacefully April 21, 2023. She was 100. Born July 25, 1922 to the late Mary Turco Gabriel and James Gabriel, Sr.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Belluscio for 49 years. She is survived by her dearly loved children Sharon Belluscio English and James (Elizabeth) Belluscio. Her pride and joy were her four grandchildren: Brian (Carmela) English, Kimberly Belluscio Tobin, Michael Belluscio and James (Samantha) Belluscio, and four great-grandchildren Brian, Jr., Nicholas, Alexis and Kaylee. Also, several nieces and nephews and her many dear friends, all whom she greatly loved.
She was predeceased by her five loving brothers: Sam, James, Joseph, Frank and Pat and her dear son-in-law Victor English.
She was a loving person and social butterfly that cared about everyone and always ready to giver her time; a woman of faith. Her daily gathering places were at McDonald’s and Wendy’s with her golden friends.
Known for her style, she was rarely seen without her signature hats and gloves. She enjoyed her daily walks and sharing her cooking with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Roch’s Church.
To honor her life, family and friends will gather Wednesday from 9am – 9:45am at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 10am at St. Roch Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
