Illegally Parked Car on Greenwich Ave Leads to DUI Arrest

On Tuesday night around 10:00pm Greenwich Police officers on patrol spotted an illegally parked car on Greenwich Avenue.

Upon observing the police cruisers, the car began traveling south on the Ave.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop, and through investigation determined that the driver, Wesley Kendall, 37, Stamford, had red glassy eyes and the odor of alcohol. Mr. Kendall was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.

A DMV inquiry revealed he did not possess a valid driver’s license. He was arrested and charged with DUI, Improper Parking and Operating without a License.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 22 and was released after posting the required 10% of his $250 bond.
