Greenwich Man Faces Drug Charges after Overdose of Resident

Greenwich Police arrested a local man on Oct 28 on drug charges after the Narcotics section investigated a possible overdose of a Greenwich resident.

Police say detectives made contact with the suspect, Meshach Kim, 31, identified as a possible source of narcotics and negotiated the purchase of heroin and fentanyl from him.

Mr. Kim allegedly arrived at the negotiated meeting location, and was detained. Investigation resulted in Kim’s arrest and the seizure of three folds of suspected heroin/fentanyl, plus two pills determined to be classified as Controlled Substances.

He was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Attempt at Sale of controlled substance and Criminal Sale of Narcotics.

Kim was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 12, 2021.
