Household Hazardous Waste Day is this Saturday, May 4 from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Island Beach Parking lot on Arch Street.
The event is open to Greenwich residents and residents of participating towns.
No commercial loads accepted.

Fluorescent bulbs & CFLs
Motor vehicle batteries and motor oil
Residential alkaline and rechargeable batteries
Safety Precautions:
Wear rubber gloves
Read warning labels
Identify unlabeled containers
Use containers no larger than 5 gallons each
Pack like materials carefully in boxes lined with newspaper or kitty litter
Place containers on a flat surface in vehicle to transport
