The Greenwich League of Women Voters announced their upcoming schedule of five candidate debates for the Nov 4, 2025 municipal elections.
Candidates from both parties for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Estimate and Taxation, Town Clerk, and Tax Collector have agreed to participate.
All debates will take place in the Town Hall Meeting Room.
Attendance in the Town Hall Meeting Room will be limited.
Remote viewing will be provided via GCTV’s YouTube Channel HERE.
The LWV notes that advance registration will be cut off when room capacity is reached.
Registered attendees must be in their seats by 6:45pm or eats will be given to those in a standby line.
First Selectman & Selectman Debates
Monday, September 29 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Anthony Presta is a former attorney from New York now living in Wilton. He is a social studies teacher at Wilton High School and is co-advisor and coach for the school’s Mock Trial Team. Previously, he was advisor and coach for the school’s Debate Team, which won the Connecticut State Championship his last year in that role. He also helped build the school’s civics program and over his years teaching there has taught a wide variety of classes, such as Civics and the Contemporary World, Law and the American Legal System, U.S. History (all levels), Economics (all levels), and various other courses. In his free time, Anthony participates in various motorsports and performs in community theater
