Burying Hill Road To Close for 6 Weeks for Bridge Work

Starting December 15, construction starts on the Burying Hill Rd bridge on Burying Hill Road between Highland Farm Road and Lake Avenue.

The road is scheduled to be closed for approximately 6 weeks.

The project was designed by GM2 Associates of Glastonbury, CT. The construction will be performed by A. Vitti Excavators, LLC of Stamford. The construction contract for the project is for $158,132.00.

The following detour will be established:

Traffic traveling eastbound on Burying Hill Rd will be rerouted to Highland Farm Road south to Cherry Valley Road southeast to Old Mill Road east to Lake Avenue.

Traffic traveling west on Burying Hill Road will be rerouted to Lake Avenue South to Old Mill Road west to Cherry Valley Road northwest to Highland Farm Road north to Burying Hill Road.
