Arch in Bloom’s Pumpkins & Pints 2022: Beautiful Day, Big Turnout

The Pumpkins & Pints event at Arch in Bloom enjoyed the biggest turnout yet. Residents from Glenville and Pemberwick were joined by families from all of Greenwich’s neighborhoods.

At least one person new to both the event and the business, a nursery & garden center that offers landscape design services, asked Derek D’Andrea the origin of the name of his business.

“Arch is short for architecture,” he explained. “We’re landscape architects.”

D’Andrea was joined by friends and family, including his father, mother, sister, fiancée, and uncle. Local elected officials and candidates turned out on the beautiful day.

Beer and cider flowed, and the kielbasa was delicious. The live band, Massive Diva, did not disappoint and children loved the pumpkin picking and painting.
