Floren: Greenwich Delegation’s Teamwork Gets Work Done in Hartford

Letter to the editor submitted by State Rep Livvy Floren (R-149), Sept 3, 2018

As an 18-year veteran state representative, I know firsthand the importance of teamwork. Nothing gets done in Hartford if you cannot build a majority coalition of votes in Committee … in the Senate … and in the House.

Sen. Scott Frantz, Rep. Mike Bocchino, Rep. Fred Camillo and I are the members of the Greenwich delegation in the General Assembly.

The four of us work together to cover a lot of legislative ground, and we serve in leadership positions – in the aggregate – on the following committees: Bonding, Commerce, Energy, Finance, Government Administration and Elections, Higher Education, Housing, Insurance, Labor, Legislative Management, Nominations, and Transportation.

The team weighs in on many important issues and interacts with a large number of colleagues on both sides of the aisle. We know the people … we know the process … and we know how to get things done for our constituents.

On November 6th , please continue to support the entire Greenwich legislative team.

Rep. Livvy Floren
149th District/Greenwich and Stamford
