The election is about a month away from now and there is a lot of focus on the candidates. There also is an important referendum on the ballot to amend our Connecticut Constitution to allow early voting. I
searched the Internet to find out more information and it is difficult to find. Why? Because there is
none.
The amendment would simply change the Constitution to allow the legislature to pass laws with specifics. Those specifics are currently unknown. So, the voter is not being informed of the exact details of the legislature’s intentions. This is way too vague and the referendum should be rejected. When you fill out your ballot, turn it over to see the referendum and please vote no.
