Local Teen Heads to UN to Moderate “Day of the Girl,” Advocate Against Child Marriage

It was not long ago that her shock of red curls heated up the stage at Rippowam Middle School in Stamford when she played Annie in the 2025 Stamford All School musical. Since then, Adeline Lane, now 13 and an 8th grader at Sacred Heart Greenwich, has been busy rehearsing her role as one of the townspeople in the 2026  Stamford All School  production of A Christmas Story.

YWCA “Walk the Walk” Draws Attention to Town’s Most-Reported Violent Crime: Domestic Violence

To mark domestic violence and prevention month, the YWCA Greenwich's Harmony Project organized a walk in Bruce Park. YWCA Greenwich president and CEO Mary Lee Kiernan greeted participants.
