Saint Saviour’s Episcopal Church is pleased to announce the
appointment of the Rev. Michael Southwick as its new pastor. Ordained in 2024 after a long and successful career as an attorney, Rev. Southwick brings both deep faith and a lifelong connection to the local community as he begins leading the church into a new chapter of growth and renewal.

Rev. Southwick and his wife, Debby, raised their family in Old Greenwich and are delighted to serve the community they have long called home. Together, they are committed to rebuilding and nurturing the faith community at Saint Saviour’s, creating a welcoming place for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
Saint Saviour’s Episcopal Church is a charming historic landmark in the heart of Old Greenwich. It is an iconic building in town, a pink, mission-style church originally built in 1918. For many years, the church has also been home to a beloved dance school and preschool, making it a familiar and cherished gathering place for local families.
Under Rev. Southwick’s leadership, Saint Saviour’s is embracing a spirit of openness and renewal. The church warmly welcomes everyone—whether longtime residents, newcomers, or those simply seeking a place of reflection and community.

Sunday services are held each week at 10:00am, and all are invited to attend. The church is also planning special gatherings and celebrations during the upcoming Easter season, along with community events throughout the year.
“Saint Saviour’s has always been a special place in this town,” said Rev. Southwick. “Debby and I are excited to help grow a vibrant faith community here—one that welcomes everyone with open arms.”
Community members are encouraged to join a Sunday service, stay for coffee and reconnect with the historic church, and take part in the many events planned for the coming months.
Sunday Service is at 10:00am followed by coffee and fellowship.
