Santa prefers summer with kids, especially when he gets the chance to mingle with kids from Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich.  For 15 years, Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s Camp Simmons has been hosting Christmas in July.

On Friday, July 24, campers will feel ‘tis the season’ when special guest, Santa Claus, rides in on his summer sleigh (a fire truck) with the Greenwich Fire Department North Street Station, to bring cheer to them all.

Watch this space for photos. We’ll be there when over 200 campers, Counselors in Training and Camp Simmons staff, will enjoy a day of holiday themed festivities in early celebration of the winter holidays.  Kriss Kringle, along with his summer sleigh riders, will hose down campers to cool them down from the summer heat—and just because it’s fun!
