Update, Dec 3: The horses will be back!
Original story: Old Greenwich’s annual First Light celebration is set for Saturday, Dec 3. The roadway will be closed from the rail bridge down to the rotary by Feinsod’s.
The event will run 5:00pm to 8:00pm
This year there will be no horse carriage rides, but you can expect holiday inflatable games, a photo booth, carolers and a tree lighting. In addition, funds raised from the Art on Sound Beach Ave event will help fund dozens of potted evergreens with solar lighting that will be displayed in front of merchants’ stores.
While there are a number of celebratory events all over Greenwich, First Light may be one of the most enduring. See you there.
