The Greenwich Veterans Day Patriotic Walk is set for 10:30am on Thursday, Nov 11.
This year marks the ninth year of the event, which includes a community walk down Greenwich Avenue to honor veterans.
The community is invited to gather at the top of Greenwich Avenue at Amogerone Crossway, and the walk kicks off promptly at 10:30am.
Participants are encouraged to bring photographs of relatives and friends who served in the military.
Cars will be available for Veterans who wish to ride in the procession.
After the walk, at 11:00am, American Legion Post 29 will host a brief ceremony at the World War I monument at the corner of Greenwich Avenue and Arch Street.

Additionally, the Byram Veterans will have a flag raising event at New Lebanon School Thursday at 8:30am.
Later, at 7:00pm, the veterans will do a brief march from Veterans Way, along Delavan Ave, to the front of the Byram Firehouse for a wreath laying ceremony at 7:00pm.
