Greenwich Adult and Continuing Education Course Catalog Bursts With Interesting Programs

By Braulio Santiago, Coordinator, Greenwich Adult and Continuing Education

The Greenwich Adult and Continuing Education program offers three  separate sets of classes and lectures every year for those 18 or older eager to continue their education; to learn something new, challenging and fun; or just to brush up on their skills.

Pinturicchio, “Susanna and the Elders,” from Biblical Women in Western Art

This fall’s session is about to begin.  We publish a hard copy brochure available in various locations around Greenwich, especially in the libraries and some churches and clubs, but people can see a full list of the available courses and how to sign up for them right here online.

The classes fill up fast, so we urge those who are interested to act quickly.

This fall’s offerings provide an opportunity to learn Italian and Spanish, and also how to get better at mahjong and bridge. There’s even a course focused on tarot card reading. There are also courses for yoga, Pilates and meditation, and people can also study how to get better at writing, and important in today’s economy, how to better understand finance.

There will also be lectures on topics like America’s Lesser-Known Presidents, The Silk Road and Eurasia, and Biblical Women in Western Art.

And, as always, there will also be opportunities for people who want to learn English as a Second Language or who want to prepare for the PSAT, or for their GED.
