At Home in Greenwich, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults age in place with connection, support, and community, is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, giving its members access to a beautiful, fully accessible space for programming and community gathering — the first of its kind for the organization in more than a decade.

At Home’s administrative offices will remain on the second floor of Steeple Commons at Second Congregational Church. However, this space does not have elevator access which limits their ability to welcome members there for programs and gatherings.
The solution was closer than anyone expected. The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s facility buzzes with activity after school, but sits largely quiet during the day. Starting this fall, that daytime space will become a new home base for At Home’s members.
The partnership will run as a trial from September through December. At Home members will have access most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with covered parking and elevator access ensuring every member can join with ease.

There is something quite special about Greenwich’s older adults and teens enjoying the same space.”
Known as The Club, the Boys & Girls Club’s teen space offers At Home members a new accessible home base and plenty of room to dream: a central room with sofas, chairs, a large TV, and a pool table, plus three breakout rooms for smaller gatherings. At Home has already scheduled a short story reading group and other programming, alongside something simpler but just as vital — a friendly place to stop in for coffee and a hello.
“When we renovated our Clubhouse, we envisioned a space that would not only expand opportunities for Greenwich youth but also strengthen our connection to the community around us,” said Cristina Vittoria, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. “Strong communities are built when organizations work together and share resources. We’re delighted to open our doors to At Home in Greenwich and provide a welcoming, accessible place where its members can gather and enjoy being together.”
At Home in Greenwich is a member-supported, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults remain in their homes and stay connected to the community they love.
