The Sound Beach Community Band will perform a free concert on August 24, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at Binney Park in Old Greenwich, CT (rescheduled, due to weather, from July 27, 2025).
The theme of the concert is “Meet the Muppets: The World of Jim Henson.” First Selectman Fred Camillo will be the Guest Conductor.
The concert is part of the Greenwich Parks & Recreation Summer Concerts series: Weather postponement/cancellation information: 203-861-6100 after 4:00pm.
The Sound Beach Community Band is under the direction of Music Director Zachary Kampler.
The concert will include music arranged by Assistant Conductor and trombonist Lisa Romeo.
The Band was established in 1955 and is a private, non-profit organization. Membership in the Band is open to musicians ranging from talented, middle-school level (by audition) up through active or retired professional musicians.
