On October 4, Binney Park in Old Greenwich will once again draw model sailboat enthusiasts of of all ages from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. The cost is $5.00 per family.
Ingrid Winn of OGRCC, said she sees the day as a wonderful way to get people outdoors and unite the community. “The event makes people feel part of something,” she said last year at the regatta, adding that the event brings together multiple generations, often with grandparents, adult children and grandchildren all collaborating on boat building and sailing.
The event features categories for homemade boats, motorized and remote controlled boats. Register on the day or online.
