Free Music Fridays Returns; First Concert is June 23

Summer is almost here and Free Music Fridays are back for another year. These free concerts are a great way for families to gather and have a great time while enjoying Greenwich’s beautiful downtown and surrounding businesses.

The performances will return starting June 23 with a performance by Neal Spitzer and his Jazz Quartet.

The concerts will run into September and shows will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm in Greenwich Commons Park, 290 Greenwich Ave, which is next to the Havemeyer Building.

People can enjoy a nice Friday afternoon into the evening, take advantage of participating food trucks or get dinner at one of the great local restaurants.

The next concert will be July 14 with Frank Rogers & The Sound Cats and special guests Good for Sunday, followed by Sweet Friday on Aug. 4, Chasing Romeo on Aug. 25, The Blues Patrol Showtime band on Sept. 8.

Free Music Friday are made possible by sponsors including First Bank of Greenwich, Beyond Beautiful by Melissa, Merrill Lynch, The Rosato Team/Coldwell Banker, CFCF Coffee House and Greenwich Plumbing Robert Sisca.
