A wonderful concert, “Where I May Speak to Your Heart” which will take place this coming Sunday at 2:30pm at St. Catherine of Siena Church.
Dr. Liya Petrides, the parish Music Director and Organist said, “It is a rare and great opportunity to hear a world-class soprano from Finland, Olga Heikkila, without having to travel to New York City and pay Metropolitan Opera ticket prices. Ms. Hekkila is currently in New York to star in the critically acclaimed Metropolitan Opera premiere of Kaija Saariaho’s opera Innocence, and we are so grateful that she found time to present this program at our venue amidst her very busy schedule.”

As always, the program, sponsored by the Friends of Music Society, is presented free of charge, while free-will donations are greatly appreciated.
Ms. Heikkila will be accompanied by the internationally renowned pianist, organist and faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music, Dr. Kalle Toivio, also a native of Finland.
