All hats are hand made by Greenwich Schools staff and students and all proceeds benefit the VWM Families Foundation.
The VWMFF is currently funding a clinical trial to find a treatment for Vanishing White Matter disease. VWM is a rare, untreatable and terminal brain disease that 12 year-old Greenwich resident Sam Buck suffers from.
If you can’t attend the event, feel free to donate at:
or on venmo at @VWMFF
The Best Day Ever project was started by Deirdre Burke, and is run by Deirdre and Donna Conways, both Greenwich teachers to help one of their students, Sam Buck.

Sam suffers from a very rare, untreatable and terminal brain disease called Vanishing White Matter disease. Despite the challenges of his disease, Sam is one of the happiest kids you will ever meet.
