The an afternoon of classical, modern and jazz music with pianists Alla Zouborev and Olga Kalinina at North Greenwich Church is part of The Round Hill Association’s “Neighbor Day.”
Alla Zouborev is a pianist, teacher and accompanist in Westport,
Connecticut. With degrees in piano performance and music education from Belarus (former Soviet Union), Alla now enjoys an active career as a solo pianist, duo pianist (Schubert Club Ensemble and Pro Piano Ensemble), organist/pianist throughout Fairfield County, accompanist to all Westport public schools, and as a teacher of classical piano and music appreciation courses to both children and adults.
Olga Kalinina received her Bachelors Degree in both Piano and Music Theory from the Ul’yanovsk Music College and her Masters Degree in Musicology from Saratov State Conservatory. She has 35 years of experience teaching piano both in Russia and in the United States, and has been a member of the Wilton Conservatory of Music faculty since 2007.
Kalinina is a member of the Schubert Club, The Wednesday Afternoon Musical Club as well as an active chamber musician and duo piano performer. As a part of a local performing arts trio, Olga has performed at the Bijou Theatre in Bridgeport, WPKN’s Sunday Brunch Concerts, The Richter Center for the Performing Arts in Danbury and numerous Libraries and Senior Centers. Olga is currently is the organist at the First Church of Christ Scientist in Westport.
