Motor Vehicle Stop Turns up Woman Who Violated Conditions of Release

On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at approximately 8:30am, Greenwich Police Officers initiated a motor vehicle stop of a female operator. During the stop, police learned of an active arrest warrant for the woman, Kristi Lee Kerslake, 36, of 19 Aiken Street in Norwalk.

Kerslake was arrested by Greenwich Police and charged with Violation of Conditions of Release in the 2nd degree. Her bond was set at $25,000, which Kerslake was unable to post. She was given a court date of April 28, 2016 at Stamford Superior Court.

The original charge stemmed back to an incident on February 19, 2016 at about 7:00pm when Greenwich Police responded to a Cos Cob Ave home on a report of an unwanted female subject at someone’s front door. After interviewing both involved parties, it was determined that Kerslake had entered the property after having been informed by the complainant and Greenwich Police that she was unwelcome there. She was charged with Criminal Trespass 1t degree.
