New Britain Man Arrested for Incidents in Greenwich and Stamford on Same Day

On June 19 Greenwich Police traveled to New Britain, CT to pick up a suspect wanted by warrant in Greenwich for an incident that took place back on Jan 5, 2026.

Police said Tyrique Carlos Hill, 20, of New Britain was wanted for Accessory to Engaging Police in Pursuit, Accessory to Traveling Unreasonably Fast, Accessory to Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, Accessory to Engage Police in Pursuit, Accessory to Traveling too Fast for Conditions and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane.

His bond was set at $50,000, which he was able to post. He had an initial date in Stamford Superior Court on July 10, 2026, and according to the CT Judicial Branch website, he is due back in court on August 27, 2026.

Mr. Hill also has an open case with Stamford Police for an incident that also took place on Jan 5, 2026.

According to the CT Judicial Branch website, Mr. Hill was charged by Stamford Police with Traveling Too Fast for Conditions, Falsify Market/License/Registration, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, Engaging Police in Pursuit, Reckless Driving, Theft of Plates/Inserts, Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Plates, Interfering with Officer/Resisting Arrest.

He will also answer for those charges in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 27, 2026.
