Now a growing tradition at GHS, the event brought together dozens of student-led booths representing cultures from around the world, offering a mix of homemade cuisine, traditional clothing, music and performances.
The evening drew a steady flow of visitors, with long lines forming at popular food stations and crowds gathering around the stage for performances throughout the night.

Students took the lead in organizing the event, working in groups to represent countries and regions that reflected both their own backgrounds and broader global cultures. Each booth offered a unique experience, from carefully prepared dishes to informational displays highlighting history, customs and language.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with music playing across the room and students moving between booths to sample food and learn more about different cultures. Many attendees said the event offered a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of traditions in one place, while also celebrating the diversity within the GHS community.
Performances were a highlight of the evening, with students taking the stage to present traditional dances, music and cultural showcases. The performances drew enthusiastic applause and added to the sense of energy that carried throughout the night.
Teachers and administrators in attendance noted the importance of events like International Night in fostering inclusivity and connection among students. By creating a space where students can share their heritage and learn from one another, the event reflects the broader mission of building a strong and respectful school community.
As the night went on, the cafeteria remained packed with students and families continuing to explore the booths, try new foods and connect with one another. For many, the event was not just about food or performances, but about celebrating identity and bringing people together.
