After an unexpected extension of their mission in space due to technical difficulties with their Boeing Starliner spacecraft, Williams is ready to share her unique experiences and challenges and guides us o a weightless personal tour of the Space Station.
Initially scheduled to return in June 2024 after a week-long mission, their journey was extended due to propulsion issues and helium leaks. Despite the setbacks, including delayed replacement launches by SpaceX, Williams and Wilmore continued their scientific work aboard the Starliner, maintaining their spirits and health by focusing on scientific duties and physical wellness.
During this interactive session, they will discuss how they’ve coped with their extended stay in space, finding silver linings in challenging situations. Williams remarks on their resilience, noting that being in space longer than expected has provided them with a unique perspective and additional experiences to share.

CAPT Williams is not only a veteran astronaut with over 500 days in space but also a prominent figure in inspiring future generations. She has commanded the International Space Station twice and continues to contribute to space exploration and educational outreach.
