Town Clerk Shares Absentee Ballot Process for August 13, 2024 Republican Primary

Absentee Ballots are available beginning July 23, 2024 to registered voters through the Town Clerk’s office.

The Town Clerk’s office handles absentee ballots. There are three steps to the process beginning with step one, request an absentee ballot application.

STEP ONE: REQUEST

You may request an application for an absentee ballot in any of the following ways:

  1. Walk into the Town Clerk’s office to request an application for an absentee ballot
  2. Click to print and fill out the application: Absentee Ballot Application or with a valid CT ID you can apply online: CT Online Application
  3. Call the Town Clerk’s office at 203-622-7897 to request an application mailed to you
  4. Mail your request to the Town Clerk:
    101 Field Point Road
    Greenwich, CT 06830

STEP TWO: RECEIVE

You will receive your ballot from the Town Clerk after they receive your completed application with an original signature.

STEP THREE: RETURN

Return your completed ballot to the Town Clerk’s office via:

1. USPS Mail

Or

2. Deposited at one of our secure ballot drop box locations.  We have three designated Ballot Box locations:

  • Town Hall visitor parking lot
  •  Lobby of Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road
  • Lobby of the Greenwich Public Safety Complex, 11 Bruce Place.

3. Personally Hand deliver to the Town Clerk’s office, 101 Field Point Road, Greenwich, CT

Ballot Boxes are open from July 23 until 8:00pm on Election Day.

All ballots must be received into the Town Clerk’s office by 8:00pm on Election Day.

Town Clerk office open Special Hours: Saturday, August 11, 2024, 8:00am-12:00 noon for absentee ballots.
