On Jan 12 Greenwich Police plainclothes officers observed suspicious activity at a bank in the area of Greenwich Avenue.
Patrol officers and plain clothes officers detained and positively identified two suspects: Quayshauna Henderson, 32, of Norwalk and Quentin McAllaster, 44, of Bridgeport.
Police say their investigation revealed that the two were co-conspirators both had active warrants for their arrests – one stemming from a failure to appear and another stemming from the depositing of a counterfeit check into McAllaster’s account. The two suspects then withdrew $9,765.42 from the funds gained from that counterfeit check, committing a larceny in the process.
Henderson was charged with Larceny 3 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3. She was able to post her $10,000 bond for those charges and was assigned a day in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 26, 2024.
She was also charged with and Failure to Appear in Bridgeport and was sent there the day of her arrest in Greenwich. Bond for that charge was set at $5,000 which she was able to post.
Mr. McAllaster was charged with Larceny 3 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3. His bond was set at $1,430, which he was able to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 26, 2024.
