Greenwich Police Charge Bronx Woman with Credit Card Fraud for Incident in 2020

Greenwich Police extradited a Bronx woman from Rikers Island in New York on an outstanding felony arrest warrant on Saturday.

Police say Alecia Grant-Hyde, 42, was wanted for Larceny 2 of property obtained by embezzlement, false pretenses or false promise from an aged, blind or disabled victim; Credit Card fraud, Credit Card Theft, Criminal Impersonation and Illegal Use of Payment Card for an incident stemming back to Feb 1, 2020 in Putnam Park.

Police launched an investigation in March of 2020.

Ms Grant-Hyde was brought to Greenwich and was processed. She was able to post her $20,000 bond and was released. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 7, 2022.
