DUI Charge for Stamford Woman Who Crossed Double Yellow Line in Riverside

On May 10 around 3:00am, Greenwich police were on patrol on East Putnam Ave in the area of Sheephill Rd and Neil Lane when they spotted a car traveling east on East Putnam Ave in the northern most lane.

Vehicles driver’s side tires were observed to cross over the double yellow line and enter the westbound lane, almost mounting the median in the roadway.

Police stopped the driver, Glenda Lopez-Miguel, 36, of Stamford. They say she had red eyes and smelled of alcohol. She was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard. It was later discovered Ms Lopez-Miguel did not possess a driver’s license.

She was charged with DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper lane and Operating without a License.

She was able to post her $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on June 4, 2021.
