Greenwich Police responded to a local apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon on a report of a possible physical altercation between a man and a woman.
Investigation determined that Charles Carrieri, 41, of White Plains, NY, bit the victim on the forearm leaving puncture marks, grabbed the victim around the neck and pinned the victim against the couch. The victim was screaming loudly, causing people in the area to call the police.
Mr. Carrieri was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault 3 and Strangulation/Suffocate 2.
He as unable to post his $10,000 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court the next day.
