Chickahominy Man Charged after Incident Involving Car Parked in His Driveway

Greenwich Police charged a local man earlier this month following an incident on Hamilton Ave in Chickahominy.

Police say around 8:30am on April 11 they responded to a report of a man striking a car with a traffic cone and yelling at two people within the car.

After speaking to the man, later identified as Roberto Pelaez, 78, police say he admitted to striking the bumper of the vehicle parked in his driveway out of frustration that it was parked there.

Damage was observed on the vehicle, corroborating both Pelaez’s and the victim’s statement.

Pelaez was charged with Criminal Mischief 3 and Disorderly Conduct.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 25.
