Brooklyn Man Caught Trespassing Charged with Burglary and Carrying Dangerous Weapon

On May 29 Greenwich Police responded to the area of Woodland Ave on a report of a trespasser on private property.

On scene investigation revealed that the arrestee, Abner Morisset, 40, of Brooklyn, NY, had entered a private office building at 222 Railroad Ave.

When officers attempted to question Mr. Morisset, the suspect attempted to flee on foot.

Further investigation revealed that Morisset was in possession of stolen property and a facsimile of a firearm.

Morisset was charged with Interfering with an Officer/Resisting, Larceny 5, Criminal Trespass 2, Burglary 3 and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.

His bond was set at $50,000 which he was unable to post. He was placed in a GPD cell block and has a date in Bridgeport Superior Court on June 12, 2020.
