On the afternoon October 14 Greenwich Police units responded to a residence in Chickahominy on a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival police determined that the man, Francis T Rufino, 38, of East Stroudsburg, PA, had an active arrest warrant stemming from a previous incident at the address when he was advised he was not allowed onto this property or to have contact with the resident.
Police say the original incident stemmed back to June 17, 2020 when Rufino was outside the residence for several hours attempting to speak to anyone in the residence and made continuous calls to the victim’s home phone and cell phone, and sent text messages. He also allegedly rang the door bell several times and was beeping his horn for several hours overnight.
Rufino was charged with Harassment 2, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass 1.
His bond was set at $3,500 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 18, 2020.
