Tip Leads to Arrest of Greenwich Woman for Selling Prescription Pills

On Wednesday March 6 Greenwich Police Narcotics section received information that a woman, Helen De Luna, 33, of Edgewood Ave in Greenwich, sells prescription pills to numerous people in Greenwich.

Detectives contacted De Luna and negotiated a transaction in which she sold an undercover officer prescription pills which were classified as a controlled substance.

Further investigation revealed that De Luna was in possession of more pills of the same type and that the pills were prescribed to another person. Also found in her possession were pills classified as narcotics.

De Luna was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Sale of Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell.

She was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on March 22.
