Police Charge Woman Who Kept Buzzing Intercom at Greenwich Plaza, Triggered Fire Alarm

On Aug 30, around 5:00am, Greenwich Police responded to central Greenwich on a report of an intoxicated woman repeatedly hitting the intercom of a private building, which was listed on the report as Greenwich Plaza.

Police say the accused, Lauren M Fountain, 23, of 78 Sunfish Lane in Monroe, NY, displayed the odor associated with the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

According to police, Fountain was asking the security guard of the building to let her in the main level of the building.

Police say that when the security guard contacted Greenwich Police, Fountain pulled the fire alarm.

Fountain was charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. She was assigned  a date in Stamford Superior court on Sept 13, 2018.

She was released on a  promise to appear in court.
