Greenwich Police Catch up With Man who Was Belligerent at DUI Stop Last 4th of July

Jhon Edinson Mambuscay-obando, 24, of 148 Lockwood Ave in Stamford was arrested on Saturday by Greenwich Police for an incident on Tingue Street in Byram last year on the 4th of July.

According to a supplemental narrative, on July 4, 2015 Greenwich Police were conducting a DUI investigation following a motor vehicle stop near Delavan Ave and Tingue Street last 4th of July, when a passenger in the car, Mr. Mambuscay-obando, became belligerent and uncooperative.

Engagin in a verbal tirade against officers, Mr. Mambuscay-obando’s antagonistic behavior continued to the point where it became a hindrance to the investigation.

After ignoring several warnings, Mr. Mambuscay-obando was arrested and charged with Interfering with an Officer. He was released on a $100 bond and assigned a court date of July 13, 2015 in Stamford Superior Court.

On Saturday, Mr. Mambuscay-obando was charged with Failure to Appear 2nd degree by Greenwich Police, who picked him up from Stamford Police Dept who became aware of an active arrest warrant.

His bond was set at $5,000 and he has a court date on June 13 in Stamford Superior Court.
